about

This release comprises two separate tranches of work
The instrumental tracks were written in early 2018
The spoken word tracks were created in the mid 1990s
This brings together the bulk of the currently available legacy tracks from the Auster Boys...other material waits to be digitised from cassette archives and then remastered
However new spoken word material is now emerging and will feature in releases later this year
The subject matter of the spoken word pieces was current in the mid-90s but much of the content is still relevant today especially in regard to both political themes, psychogeographical observations and the role of the flâneur in the output of the Auster Boys.
Alan Moores Jerusalem was a key influence on the recent musical pieces.
