Bob South lives in a rural idyll, occasionally drives trains, and spends a lot of time listening to jazz and Australian music

Bob North lives in a conurbation, and spends a lot of time listening to jazz and Australian music

They decided to do things like this in 1983 over a few beers and have been continuing to do so, intermittently, ever since, with lots of albums most of which are on cassette tapes in a box somewhere and may be digitised one day.

This latest collection is a revisiting of some old themes and tunes, refreshed for a German Shepherd time.

Auster Boys Northampton, UK

Formed in the NALGO rooms Northampton over several pints in 1982, Auster Boys are Bob Auster North and Bob Auster South who got together through a mutual admiration of New York writer Paul Auster and The Fall.
